Youssef Nassef

 

Dr. Youssef Nassef manages the Adaptation Subprogramme of the secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). He has been responsible for the area of work dealing with the adverse effects of climate change at the UNFCCC secretariat since 1999.

Prior to that, he was a multilateral negotiator representing Egypt in the UNFCCC process. His academic degrees include a doctoral degree in International Technology Policy, masters degrees in Environmental Policy and in Middle East Studies, and undergraduate degrees in Physics and in Computer Science.
